Madrid took us in until we felt we belonged. It has a light that falls long and sideways, a sky of such a clean blue it looks freshly painted, nights when nobody wants to go to bed, and a winter cold that even smells a certain way, just because... in Madrid even the cold has a scent, and it can make you feel you have come home after days away. Madrileños are called gatos (cats), which is where the name of the tavern where we made this collection comes from. And yes, we are from here, and we also feel a little like gatos.
